Lessons from Arizona's School Vouchers Program
NPR's "On Point" featured an episode titled "What can we learn from Arizona's universal school vouchers?" which discussed the new voucher system enacted in Arizona in 2022 and the lessons that could be learned from that example.
The description of the episode on NPR's website is:
Arizona was the first state in the country to adopt universal school vouchers. But who is benefiting from this program, and who gets left behind? With school voucher questions on several state ballots right now, we look at lessons from Arizona in our latest collaboration with ProPublica.
The discussion could help inform us if Wisconsin should ever consider implementing a similar program under the guise of school reform or school choice.
