A new coffee shop is being built near the Marcus Ridge Cinema on Moorland Road, just south of I-43. The new shop will be the first Caribou Coffee in New Berlin and will serve its full array of beverages as well as a limited number of food items, but instead of the traditional sit-down and drive-through operation, this will be drive-through only. There will be an outside seating area, where you can enjoy your coffee and bakery after picking up the items at the walk-up window.

Access to the new shop will be from Rock Ridge Road, which will be extended to connect to the parking lot for the former Stonefire Pizza. Its official address will be 5276 S. Moorland Road.

When Will It Open?

This project has been under construction for a very long time, but it appears ready to open soon. The top photo was taken November 10, 2024 and it seems that everything is done on the outside except for landscaping, which will have to wait for warmer temperatures.

November 14, 2024 Update: The Caribou Coffee website still lists this location as "opening soon" with no additional details. We called the phone number listed and the very nice person that answered said that they would be opening Thursday morning, November 21, 2024.
