Moorland Road Reconstruction - National to Cleveland (2025)

Waukesha County is reconstructing Moorland Road between National Avenue on the south to Cleveland Avenue on the north.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation notification dated March 6, 2025, this project will begin in late March and will continue through October 2025. Moorland Road will remain open, but will be subject to "lane restrictions and access restrictions" during construction.

Public Involvement Meeting - Monday, March 17, 2025 4:00pm - 6:00pm at New Berlin Public Library.

Hoffman Construction Company along with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will host a public involvement meeting for the pavement replacement project on Moorland Road (CTH O) in the City of New Berlin. The meeting will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the New Berlin Public Library.

The meeting will be an open-house format with no formal presentation. Plans will be on display and available for viewing. Anyone with interest in this project is encouraged to stop by to discuss plans with representatives who can answer questions. During construction, Moorland Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction along with a reduced 25 mph speed limit, motorists should expect delays and encouraged to seek alternative routes.

The New Berlin Public Library is ADA accessible.

We're excited to welcome you to a "public involvement meeting" for the 2025 project on Moorland Road (County Hwy O) from Cleveland Ave (County Hwy D) to National Ave (County Hwy ES).

Public Information Meeting - March 1, 2022 4:30pm - 6:30pm at New Berlin City Hall.

As part of the Waukesha County’s reconstruction of CTH O, AECOM will be holding a Public Informational Meeting for New Berlin Residents to discuss the Moorland Road reconstruction from National Ave. to Cleveland Ave. in 2024.  The meeting will be in the City Hall Council Chambers from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
